Where you’ll be working

You’ll join our membership and sales team at Pools on the Park in Richmond. Facilities here include an outdoor pool, indoor main and teaching pools, fitness suite, cycle studio, exercise studio, health suite, cafe and outdoor grounds. The centre is open to the public 7 days a week from 6.30am to 10pm.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be working on the promotion and sale of swimming and fitness memberships, promoting the Borough’s “Richmond Card” and all activities across our centres. Giving prospective members a tour and advising them of the best offers will be a key part of your role, along with marketing and email correspondence.

You’ll also provide professional and friendly assistance with bookings / enquiries and welcoming visitors in person to the centre.

What we’ll need from you

You must have the following in order to be considered for this role:

  • A recognised fitness qualification, or a sports/recreation/management/sales qualification.
     
  • A First Aid qualification.
     
  • Previous experience of working in a health and fitness environment, or relevant sales experience.

You’ll also have good communication and organisation skills, along with the ability to use a computerised till.

What we can offer you

£10.80 per hour (plus holiday relief pay allowance on top of hourly rate).

Shifts are likely to include a mixture of early mornings, daytime and evenings. Any shifts offered would be by mutual agreement, so you can always fit work in around your other commitments.
