About Us:

In Kensington and Chelsea, we put local people at the heart of decision-making, working in partnership with them to provide quality services that are responsive, effective and efficient. The London Community Equipment consortium is the largest community equipment framework in the UK. 21 London boroughs and associated NHS organisations work together to deliver community equipment, such as disability and daily living aids, free of charge to ill or disabled people to use at home. This equipment is vital to keep people independent, safe and to help prevent unnecessary hospital admissions. It also supports hospital discharge and can aid with rehabilitation.

The Role:

You’ll be supporting the London Community Equipment Consortium Team, delivering high quality IT business analysis and ensuring that systems are also in place to deliver the service. The service uses an IT system, through which clinicians can order, repair, track and collect equipment. The service and IT system are due for re-tender, and as part of your role you will help to redesign the service and get involved in the procurement evaluation process for the new system. This will include developing and evaluating test scripts on proposed systems, as well ensuring GDPR and Accessibility compliance. Once the new contract has been awarded, you’ll help to move around 5,000 users and their records to the new system.

Please refer to the Job Description for more information.

About You:

We’re looking for someone qualified or experienced in business and systems analysis, design and testing. You’ll also need some knowledge of social care record management systems or community equipment ordering systems, as well as experience of web based client record and ordering systems with management information and contract management configurator interfaces. You’ll be able to show us that you have successfully produced specifications for software changes, including test cases and test specifications, as well as user acceptance testing. It’s also very important that you can work and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders and manage sometimes conflicting demands.

In return, you can look forward to a package that includes a competitive salary, a high-quality pension scheme and generous annual leave plus bank holidays.

Please apply online explaining how you meet the requirements set out in the person specification and job description. CV’s will not be considered for this role.

We reserve the right to close this vacancy early if we receive a high volume of suitable applicants.
