The Corporate Director role at Fenland District Council promises to be one of the most exciting opportunities in local government.

Over recent years, members and officers have worked hard to lobby for inward investment to the area, and now that millions of pounds have been secured, you could help lead the delivery phase of this exciting journey.

We are looking for an exceptionally talented and enthusiastic individual to form part of our Corporate Management Team and to provide leadership on a range of economic growth, regeneration and infrastructure projects whilst supporting the Council’s ambitious Commercial and Investment Strategy. You will be working closely with a dedicated member and officer ‘One-Team’ to deliver projects made possible through the funding that we have attracted.

The Fenland district has been identified by the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority as a key area for economic growth through their work on the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Independent Economic Review (CPIER) and Local Industrial Strategy (LIS). This focus, along with our refreshingly dynamic and transformational culture has created the recipe for our success to date. But we want more, much more!
