Based at: The Quays, Brunel Way, Baglan Energy Park
We are looking for an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic person to join our Network Management Team.
You will be expected to provide day to day support to the Network and Programme Manager across a wide range of functions, including supervision of maintenance operations carried out by works contractors, keeping account of costs and budgets and delivering a quality service with as little disruption to the public as possible. To undertake and assist in the supervision of highway inventory and condition data collection, ensuring records are up to date and accessible. To assist in the implementation of the Directorate’s Geographical Information System (GIS). Help manage the Authority’s Local Street Gazetteer and set up, oversee and analyse methods of spatial data creation for asset management.
Effective communication both verbally and in writing is essential for this post and applicants must have the ability to travel extensively throughout the County Borough.
