Rotherham Children and Young Peoples Services is Ofsted rated Good and Rotherham CCG is rated Outstanding by NHS England.   We continue to make progress in all areas, with some exciting transformation projects underway that focuses on ensuring good quality care and support for our children and young people.  We now have an exciting opportunity for a new Joint (RMBC /CCG) Assistant Director to join us on our journey.

As Joint Assistant Director – Commissioning and Performance, your leadership role in the Local Authority and Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) will be fundamental, as we have an ambitious plan to ensure sufficiency for our children in care and for our children with special educational needs and disabilities.

A key member of the Directorate Leadership Team for the Council’s Children and Young People’s Services and leading on Commissioning and Performance for the Council, as well as being the lead for Children and Young People’s Commissioning for the CCG, you will drive coproduction across all stakeholders, and particularly lead on participation for children and young people.

As the Assistant Director, you will be passionate about achieving excellent performance and determined to engage positively with key stakeholders in Rotherham and sub regionally.  Your work will span a broad portfolio requiring you to be engaging and able to make connections to build on the robust partnership working already in place.
