The core focus of this job is to work with partners, including the local population themselves, to improve health and wellbeing and reduce health inequalities by enabling healthy communities and places. The role will develop co-production, personalisation, hyper- local approaches, asset based working and be the lead commissioner for the public health voluntary sector portfolio. The post will also provide leadership for a team.

This is a new post reporting to the Director of Public Health so we need someone with drive and initiative who can make it their own. We are looking for someone who is passionate about reducing inequalities and giving local people the chance to co-produce services in a creative way. They should be committed to improving outcomes, creating new networks and promoting system leadership.
