Adults Social Workers - Older Adults - Ongoing Support

We work with adults over the age of 65 and their carers.

The team offers a dynamic range of experiences from Safeguarding Vulnerable Older Adults, to working with people with complex needs and diverse situations, as well as completing annual reviews with a focus on recovery, where we focus on the best life the individual wants. This includes working closely with partners and building networks and community resilience.

North Essex is a diverse area which ranges from coastal towns, one with a busy international port, rural communities, and areas of poverty and deprivation to affluent areas, which offers Social Workers and Occupational Therapists opportunities to put their skills and knowledge into practice to support the Older Adults of the local area.

Working to support adults and their families who have complex social needs and are more vulnerable as a result of disability, exclusion, or diminished capacity, you'll maximise their potential to live independently.

With case work focusing on the most complex and challenging adult cases, you'll ensure that adults and their families are safeguarded. You'll share ideas and best practice, providing specialist advice as part of a multi-disciplinary team sharing your knowledge as a Social Worker.
