Our ideal candidate must have Street Works experience (you may have gained this with another Local Authority or you may have worked for or be working for a utility company) – ideally approx. 5 years, however, we would be willing to discuss this opportunity further if you have less experience but feel that you could rise to the challenge of this role.
You should be able to demonstrate the ability to resolve problematic queries and deal with complaints using your excellent negotiation skills and have evidence of being able to communicate at all levels with a variety of different stakeholders.
Working arrangements may be varied and you could be working from our award winning city centre offices, be based at home or attend meetings on site. The council offers a range of family friendly policies and schemes to support our employees including childcare salary sacrifices schemes and discounted travel to work initiatives.

We can offer flexible working practices, community engagement and volunteer activities and, as part of our commitment to you, promote continuous Learning & Development.
