We are looking for a Director with S151 responsibilities to join us at this key point in our journey. The role provides variety and breadth and is an ideal opportunity to influence the strategy and delivery of a range of services. It requires senior management experience, including in finance, and excellent strategic leadership and management skills.
As S151 Officer, a relevant accountancy qualification is needed. The role will draw on experience and skills in delivering transformation to improve services and/or enable economic development and regeneration. These outcomes will also require the ability to collaborate and forge strong relationships with colleagues, politicians, and partners. The Council is moving to mainly remote/flexible working and the role would be carried out on this basis.
