Jersey is on an exciting journey towards implementing a new model of care including the build of a new hospital that will transform health and social care provision in Jersey.
The overarching aim of the Jersey Care Model is to transform health and social care, in order to improve Islanders’ physical and mental health and wellbeing. To achieve this, it adopts a patient centred approach whereby care is financially sustainable, safe and accessible, being provided in the places where people need it the most.
As the Head of Commissioning and Partnerships, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a successful commissioning strategy and partnership approach for HCS and the island. You will lead and oversee the development and implementation of programmes and services, particularly systems, to ensure services will meet the needs of Islanders and deliver positive outcomes.
Successful applicants will have a strong background in health and social care commissioning and a proven ability to deliver objective and impartial advice that is based on advanced analysis and intelligence and that will help drive improved service quality and customer experience, value for money and outcomes for Islanders.
