As a Social Worker within the Primary Care Mental Health Network, you’ll help develop a new service across GP surgeries, working in partnership with other NHS, Local Authority and Voluntary Sector providers.

The role

We are looking for a Social Worker who is keen, enthusiastic and passionate about social work and primary care working to join us.

You will enjoy working in a multidisciplinary team alongside social workers, a number of Mental Health practitioners as well as Consultant Psychiatrists and their trainees. You will also have the opportunity to co- work with colleagues from the Tavistock and Portman, Camden MIND Social Prescribing Service and the Hillside Clubhouse Employment Project.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and will require an Enhanced DBS.

About you

This role requires you to be a qualified Social Worker and must be registered with Social Work England. Also, to be successful in this role you must be willing to show a commitment to undertake Post Qualifying Courses when relevant.

The successful candidates will be enthusiastic, passionate and committed to work within the recovery model and dedicated to improve the well-being of service users and their carers. It is essential that you demonstrate the ability to take responsibility for managing your own workload at a high standard and delivering to set deadlines.

You will have experience of building and maintaining effective working relationships at all levels internally and externally to high service standards.

You will also be proficient in using Microsoft Office Packages i.e. PowerPoint and Word, Intermediate Excel. Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
