An exciting career opportunity has arisen for us to recruit several counter fraud investigators to work for The South West London Fraud Partnership, one of the largest local authority shared fraud services, providing the internal fraud function for five London Councils; Richmond, Wandsworth, Kingston, Sutton, and Merton. Our role is to help protect local government public funds and make sure they are available for those who need this support the most.
You will have the opportunity to work across all partners whilst assisting in providing a professional fraud prevention and investigation function. As a trainee you will undertake a nationally recognised, fully accredited two- year Fraud Investigator apprenticeship qualification. This is fully funded, will start in September 2021 and upon successful completion you will be eligible for membership of the Governments Counter Fraud Profession (GCFP). We will support you in undertaking this qualification by giving you time to study and an experienced mentor. Upon your successful completion we anticipate that you will then join our service on a permanent basis.
This opportunity is ideally suited to a range of people with a wide variety of skills and experience. You will have strong analytical ability and be a skilled communicator, able to work objectively and impartially with people from a wide range of different backgrounds, most of all you will be open and honest have an inquisitive mind, be willing to develop your investigative skills and be able to work both independently and in a team.
