The impact you’ll make

Providing strategic expertise, advice and guidance on place shaping and delivery, integrated transport, and infrastructure, we’ll look to you to lead, inspire, and manage the Directorate to deliver high performing regeneration, and infrastructure and integrated, well designed and sustainable transport systems that work for everyone.

You’ll be passionate about leading and delivering inclusive growth, and you’ll have the strategic vision and collaborative place-shaping experience to work in partnership to deliver economic growth, tackle climate change, and social capital.

You’ll work closely with the Metro Mayor of Liverpool City Region, expertly navigating and influencing, political, partnership and financial landscapes to get the job done and when required deputise for our CX. Your creativity, innovative way of thinking and open approach will see you bring people and ideas together to achieve the best possible outcomes for all.

What you’ll need

Ideally, you’ll bring significant, demonstrable experience in a senior leadership role in a place shaping, regeneration, transport, or infrastructure environment, together with a proven track record of delivering place-based strategies and policies in a public sector partnership context.
