This post is fixed-term for 12 months due to project work.

Are you a qualified Social Worker? Do you have two years post qualifying experience in statutory services? Do you value partnership working? Are you committed to Safeguarding adults and Continued Professional Development? Can you demonstrate high standards of practice and lead by example? YES? In this role you will be required to support and develop Social Work practice in the areas of drug, alcohol misuse and homelessness, including people who are described as having no recourse to public funds. 

Sandwell is an area of excellence and has developed an award winning blue light project. This will be a great source of professional support for this new role. The post holder will also report directly to the Principal Social Worker so will have access to professional supervision and professional development. You will be working from home but expected to continue to liaise with all partners providing support using Teams. 

This role requires an Enhanced DBS and a relevant Social Work qualification.
