We are currently recruiting for a Head of Assets (Housing) who will be responsible for services related to Capital projects, managing planned works and projects to refurbish and improve the Council's housing stock. 

As a member of the Housing senior management team, the Head of Assets (Housing) will play a key role in the strategic and operational direction of the team and wider directorate. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a construction related field and extensive experience in managing building and refurbishment projects. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented individual, able to confidently manage and motivate a team to ensure goals are met. You should have a good knowledge in a variety of building related issues, including CDM regulations, Asbestos and experience of drawing up building contracts, including PPC200, TPC 2005 and JCT.
