A great opportunity to work with the Marketing team in the Council, to gain office experience and an understanding of marketing within Sports, Theatres, Museums, Events and Hylands Estate; whilst working towards a digital marketing apprenticeship.
You will have the opportunity to develop your Microsoft office experience in a work setting, as well as skills in commercial application & use of social media, web, email marketing and digital advertising channels.
By assisting with marketing efforts behind this varied range of service areas, towards both commercially and community focused objectives and targets, you will be able to gain and develop skills that will be useful in pursuing future jobs in marketing.
The role provides an opportunity to experience mixed workplace settings including working from home, within our Duke Street offices and in offices within service areas. You will also get to experience and engage with customers and businesses, as well as helping with outreach marketing and at events, launches & press nights (e.g. taking photos and assisting with live updates of social media).
You will be required to work 37 hours per week with benefits including flexible working, in addition to studying towards a Level 3 apprenticeship.
