We are now looking to recruit a highly-motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Case Services Manager.

 

They will lead and manage a large team of multiskilled case officers with a focus on providing the highest standards of customer care.

 

The post holder will be responsible for effective, efficient case management, drawing on relevant skills and expertise to deliver the customer interface for a wide range of council services.

 

Reporting to the Director of People and Place, they will be responsible for maintaining excellent relationships with specialist teams and deliver a programme of training for case officers to add resilience and drive continuous improvement in the services we provide to our customers.

 

They need to be adaptable, able to respond to competing priorities and deal with both informal and formal actions in response to service requests.

 

Essential attributes include an excellent track record in customer service processes, the ability to work under pressure and experience of dealing with complex problems in a challenging environment.

 

We are going through an exciting organisational change programme as part of our commitment to continually improve customer service.

 

This is one of the pivotal roles within the new operating model and therefore a permanent role within our new structure.

 

The role will also form part of the council’s extended management team.
