We have some exciting opportunities that has arisen in the Neighbourhoods Asset Management and Maintenance team. 

We are looking for candidates that have exceptional written and verbal communication skills and be familiar with the production of documents using the Microsoft office suite of programmes. 

Applicants must be presentable, proven to be extremely reliable and able to work on their own initiative to see tasks through to completion and achieve deadlines.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to conduct fire risk assessments across a portfolio of high and low-rise housing stock and relevant business premises.

You should be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience regarding fire safety,  be able to competently undertake a suitable and sufficient fire risk assessment in a social housing environment ensuring compliance with the requirements of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.

Excellent communication skills are essential as is a good working knowledge of current legislation related to fire safety and practical application of fire safety principles.

You will develop fire safety action plans for HRA owned stock including leasehold properties and provide expert specialist fire safety support and advice to a range of audiences, including designing and delivering fire safety related training for elected members, employees and residents.

Qualifications

Higher National Certificate or equivalent in a Building Construction related subject.

Or

Fire Risk Management Btech level 3

Or

Fire Service accredited course in undertaking fire risk assessments.

Hours

37 hours per week
