Job Details
Chelmsford's busy and successful Theatres and Events team require an experienced and enthusiastic person to join the technical team.
The venues cater for a wide range of professional shows and amateur productions. The theatres also co-produce a range of indoor and outdoor productions and events.
You will be responsible for assisting with the day to day co-ordination of events, the staging of shows and supervising casual technicians, taking an active hands-on role in the provision of services.
You must have previous relevant experience in lighting, sound, staging, audio visual and any associated skills. You will be required to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Knowledge of buildings fixtures and fittings maintenance is also desirable.
We require a good communicator and team member, who is self motivated, flexible, diligent and Health and Safety conscious.
You will be required to work an average of 37 hours per week on an annualised scheme. Work rotas are issued 1 month at a time, 2-4 weeks in advance.
