Chelmsford's busy and successful Civic and Cramphorn Theatres require experienced or enthusiastic people to join the technical team as Casual Technicians.

The venues cater for amateur productions and a wide range of professional shows.

To be successful in this role you will be a good communicator, a team player as well as being self motivated, diligent and Health and Safety conscious.

You will be assisting with the provision of events. Tasks will include get-ins/outs,follow spotting, general stage crew work, flying and sound. Previous relevant experience in lighting, sound, staging and associated skills would be an advantage although on the job training will be given. Both roles require working at height accessed only by a vertical ladder and a fair degree of physical labour.

We are seeking crew for our pantomime which runs 6 days a week from 15th November – 4th January. You will be required to work on a call by call basis, working flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
