Question 3: Please describe what type of work environment do you perform best in?

The Role

You will be part of a team that works shifts across 7 days per week, 24 hours a day, and you will be expected to participate in a weekly team meeting.

Develop positive relationships with the people living with us, their support networks and your colleagues, treating everyone with respect, kindness, generosity and compassion.

Provide practical support to help people live well at home, in the way that the person wants. This will include help with personal care (for example getting in and out of bed, washing, bathing, dressing), support preparing and cooking meals, support with taking medication, looking after their home, and getting out and about in the community. Whatever the person needs, when they need it, in the way they want it!

Be part of a self-managing team. This means working together, taking different roles, and creatively solving problems together. You will provide support and cover for each other, give each other constructive feedback and celebrate successes as well.

What we’re offering

We have 9 permanent, full time positions available (36 hours a week) for Wellbeing Day Worker role, and 1 permanent, part time position available for Wellbeing Night Worker. We are specifically looking for a female for the Wellbeing Night Worker due to the needs of the people in the service.

You use creativity, problem-solving skills, teamwork, flexibility and adaptability to support people to live well and be part of their community.

You have an inner spark to challenge the loneliness, boredom, and helplessness that many people with extra care needs can experience. You enjoy supporting people to feel connected, to contribute, be active, and have a purpose through their own definition of what this means to them. You use your head (knowledge), heart (passion), and hands (skills) to support people and bring our values to life.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an all-day recruitment workshop on Wednesday, 27th October 2021.
