Job Details

We're looking for a dynamic and practical-minded leader to join us for 12 months to cover a substantive post, ideally starting at the end of November 2021.  You'll be joining an organisation which is looking to drive forward it's digital agenda and to deliver standards in the private-rented sector which residents have told us they would like to see.  We're based in a comfortable office building, with good transport links, in a historic and diverse part of South London.  You'll have scope to spend part of your week working remotely, but most of the week will need to be based in Woolwich in order to deliver visibility to staff and stakeholders.  We have a strong track record of partnership working and working with our communities and are hoping that, with your previous experience from a Local Authority background in recent years, you'll be the strong candidate we need.  A leadership qualification is desirable but not essential.  Occasional in-person attendance at Committee meetings in the early evenings may be required.
