Job description About the role

Ensure a strategic approach to procurement is embedded across all Council functions. To liaise with business units to understand their specific service needs and to ensure that all procurement projects contribute to the delivery of Council objectives. Delivering procurement in the Construction category utilising existing frameworks, DPS and open tenders. Development of sourcing strategies in line with client requirements and running end to end procurement. 

About you

• CIPS qualifications would be desirable, or willingness to undertake study to achieve qualification.
• You will have at least three years experience in procurement predominantly in the Construction Category.
• Knowledge and experience of OJEU regulations and PCR’s.
• Demonstrable knowledge of social value delivery in procurement.
