Make a difference to the health and wellbeing of Brent residents

The Post

Be part of a dynamic, innovative team working towards improving the health and wellbeing of Brent residents.

The post holder will develop and deliver a range of activities aimed at increasing participation in physical activity for non-active residents within the borough to support in improving health and wellbeing, with a particular focus on mental wellbeing (stress, anxiety, depression, loneliness).

This will involve working with other partners such as sports centres, community groups, health professionals and local residents in order to meet their needs.

The Person

Are you passionate about supporting local communities?  Do you have knowledge and experience in the area of health improvement, particularly physical activity and mental wellbeing?

Do you have knowledge and experience of how physical activity can help improve health and wellbeing?

Do you have experience in planning, coordinating and delivering activity sessions?

You need to have good communication skills. Can you work well on your own initiative and as part of a team?

You also need to be proficient in use of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
