The Sherwood Forest Trust is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic person to help us meet the challenge of creating at least 250ha of new, multi-purpose woodland in Nottinghamshire, as part of the Trees for Climate programme.
Working with our partner, the Greenwood Community Forest, your woodland knowledge and expertise coupled with your enthusiasm and passion for trees will enable us to develop and deliver high quality planting schemes on public, private and community land sites, bringing benefits for people and nature while helping to combat climate change.
The post is offered on a full-time basis (37 hours) to 31st March 2023 in the first instance, with the potential for extension to 31st March 2025 subject to the continued availability of funding. We offer flexible hours, including hybrid working (home/office/on-site).
The salary is £23,369 and the Trust offers a pension through NEST.
