This is a 12 month fixed term contract to pick up the backlog of reviews and transition to a new DP Review process which will be system driven.
We are looking for Direct Payments and General Accounts Senior Assistants.
Applicants should possess experience of analysing finance data and using different systems, and be able to demonstrate competencies in using Microsoft Word and Excel, and local Authority Systems such as Liquid Logic and Controcc.
At least two years’ experience of working within a finance and administrative environment is essential. Experience of updating and interrogating adult social care database and an understanding of direct payments and care management would be advantageous.
You will be required to;
- Carry out DP reviews of the backlog.
- Carry out investigations into financial discrepancies/irregularities as necessary.
- Liaise with other teams and agencies.
- Produce an analysis of the Income and expenditure of the DPaccount.
- Produce a written report of the findings.
- Transition to a new review process.
You must have 5 GCSE's grade C or above.
An enhanced DBS check is required for this role.

37 hours per week
