We’re looking for a dynamic and charismatic leader to join the Learning For Public Health Team to drive forward development opportunities for public health workforce in the West Midlands, to learn and connect based on priorities set by the Association of Directors of Public Health.

As the Public Health Network Co‐Ordinator, the focus of your role will be working closely with senior stakeholders to identify key priorities, and then with a pragmatic and agile approach, translate these into actions for the wider West Midlands public health workforce.

This is an amazing opportunity to have a seat at the table with the movers and shakers of public health West Midlands and make a significant contribution to important outcomes around health and wellbeing. You will use your highly advanced interpersonal and organisational skills to be the driving force in facilitating and co‐ordinating discussions with key public health decision makers; ensuring that ideas are translated into tangible actions for the public health workforce. As part of the Learning for Public Health Team you will be expected to deliver opportunities for learning, development and connection for professionals working across public health. The role would be ideal for someone who has a good knowledge and understanding of local, regional and national public health and wider health care systems.

One of the key deliverables of this role will be the development and content management of a website. Experience and knowledge on what makes strong and engaging content and management of online platforms is highly desirable.

The ideal candidate for this role will have an abundance of confidence, positive energy, drive and will be able to seamlessly engage with multiple and diverse stakeholders.

You must be educated to diploma standard or equivalent relevant experience and hold Project Management or Programme Management training such as Prince 2 or Managing Successful Programmes.

37 hours per week
