Job Details
An exciting opportunity has arisen to support the Community Sport & Wellbeing Team at Chelmsford City Council with a Physical Activity project for adults with low level mental health conditions. The project will be based at the Chelmsford Sport and Athletics Centre.
Applicants should have a keen interest in sport or exercise class delivery. Experience of working and supporting adults with low to moderate Mental Health Issues would desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
The successful candidate will aid the head coaches and other instructors in delivering a range of activities to clients referred to the centre as part of their on-going support with mental health issues.
The successful candidate should be empathetic, supportive, organised, flexible and enjoy working directly with a wide range of individuals both internally and out in the community. Good Communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
