We are looking for a friendly and approachable person to join our management team, who can work well under pressure, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is able to lead and motivate a team, focused on high customer service standards.

The successful applicant will be fully accountable for the Dryside facility; incorporating a 6 court Sports Hall, Creche and Soft Play area, overseeing all aspects of the budget, staffing, programming, procedures and health and safety.  They will ideally have a comprehensive employment history of working within a leisure facility and have previous experience of managing staff.

This position is offered on a full-time basis, working on a shift basis to cover the opening hours of the centre, from 5.15am to 11pm, including weekends and bank holidays.

Chelmsford City Council is committed to safeguarding vulnerable groups and expects all employees to share this commitment and have a range of policies and procedures in place which promote safeguarding and safer working practices across our services.
