This position is on a fixed-term contract for 12 months.
The successful post holder will be required to provide a comprehensive business support to the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards and minute-taking service for Safeguarding Adults related meetings - Initial Case Conferences and Review Case Conferences. In addition, post holder will be required to provide business support to the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) team as and when required.
Applicants should possess:
- OCR/RSA Level 2 word processing (or equivalent) or be able to demonstrate an equivalent competency and be able to use Microsoft Office applications.
- At least two years’ experience of working in a business support/administrative environment with the ability to effectively take accurate records of meetings
- GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) is essential
The candidate will effectively take accurate records of meetings, be able to work to deadlines and cope calmly in pressurised situations, organise and prioritise work effectively with the ability to interpret and make sense of complex information and instructions. In addition, the aptitude to absorb, classify information and arrange appropriately with attention to detail is expected.

37 hours per week
