Sandwell Virtual School is seeking to appoint an Education Development officer - Vulnerable Children (Children in Care, Previously Looked After Children and Children with a Social Worker) to join their award-winning service.

The successful candidate will support the leadership team in ensure that more focus is placed on children with a social worker (CWSW), targeting support earlier on in these young people’s lives and helping improve how they engage with education. This will include advising on the best use of Recovery Funding, leading on multi- agency conversations, developing and delivering high quality training and impact analysis of programmes to raise attainment.

Candidates must be dedicated professionals who will engage, enthuse and challenge colleagues and Young People, to achieve their very best.

Candidates must have:

5 GCSEs A-C or equivalent-including Maths and English and NVQ Level 3 in a relevant discipline
