About Us:

Ensuring people get the support they need to live independently

In Kensington and Chelsea, we look after a diverse population, which includes people living in some of the nation’s most deprived wards. Our challenges have become particularly acute during the pandemic but, by sharing facilities and expertise in a Bi -borough agreement with Westminster City Council, we have sustained joined-up health and social care services that put residents at their heart. We support people’s independence and wellbeing and work hard to enable them to live in the community with dignity, choice and control.

The Role:

Our Home Care Services provide personal care and support with daily living activities for people with sensory loss, memory loss and disabilities, as well as those rebuilding confidence after hospital treatment. Joining our collaborative, 12-strong team, you’ll help us match and place care staff from outside providers with people who need their assistance at home. As the first point of contact for service users and providers, you’ll answer queries and address problems. You’ll also monitor the scheduling, billing and delivery of services and raise any issues you identify with the wider team.

Please refer to the Job Description for more information.

About You:

You’ll deal with everyone from service users to service providers, social workers to hospital discharge teams, so you’ll need to be a friendly, confident communicator. Excellent administration skills are a must, and a home care background – or at least knowledge of the area – would be beneficial, either through previous work or personal experience. Capable of multitasking, you’ll have a keen eye for detail and an excellent phone manner.  If you’re passionate about helping people and want to make a difference, you’ll fit right in.

In return, you can look forward to a package that includes a competitive salary, a high-quality pension scheme and generous annual leave plus bank holidays.

Please apply online explaining how you meet the requirements set out in the person specification and job description. CV’s will not be considered for this role.

We reserve the right to close this vacancy early if we receive a high volume of suitable applicants
