We are looking for a full time Digital tutor that's highly skilled and has a real passion and expertise in Digital Skills to join our Adult Learning service. The ideal candidate to join our service will be positive and enthusiastic with the ability to deliver inspiring and engaging lessons. We offer an extensive range of Digital learning opportunities across Cumbria including the new Essential Digital Skills qualifications.

About our Service

Cumbria County Council Adult Learning rated Good by Ofsted delivers community learning and skills provision both face to face and online. Our service is focused on provision which transforms the lives of our most disadvantaged communities enhances employment opportunities and meets the needs of local employers.

Our service works with learners of all abilities and with skills levels from absolute beginner to intermediate and beyond you will need to demonstrate the ability to teach to meet a range of learning styles and support learners with diverse needs.

Your role will include delivering qualifications and community learning creating an individual learning plan and tracking progress to ensure that each individual learner achieves their goals.

Who we are looking for

The successful candidate will deliver Digital courses online and in local community venues with the opportunity to work across the county. As a learner responsive service we aim to offer learning opportunities during daytime and evenings therefore the successful candidate will need to be able to work flexibly to meet demand.

The ideal candidate to join our service will be positive flexible and enthusiastic with the ability to deliver inspiring and engaging lessons.

Teaching experience is essential and a teaching qualification is required.
