An opportunity has risen for an experienced and dynamic Enhanced Practitioner to join our Mental Health West Social Work team within the Adult Social Care service.
We are looking for the right candidate to join our team, working as a highly capable practitioner in an autonomous manner and managing a caseload of complex and demanding cases. The role includes the need to work in line with the Mental Health Act 1983 (as amended 2007), Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005 on a regular basis.
The team covers Allerdale and Copeland, and some travelling out of county will be necessary at times. The post holder will be expected to work closely with colleagues in health across a number of teams and mental health settings.
You will work with the wider team, understanding the roles and accountabilities of other professionals, as well as sharing skills and knowledge with colleagues across all agencies, in order to ensure and deliver multi-faceted, appropriate services to meet the identified needs of our Service Users.
We are looking for a motivated, professional and hard-working candidate to join our team. You need to be a qualified and registered social worker. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the assessment and care management processes, as well as a commitment to partnership working.
This role requires an enhanced DBS check with an Adults Barred List check. Please note this role involves working in regulated activity with Adults.
