Are you someone who loves working with data? Do you enjoy developing charts, graphs and visualisations?

Whether you’re an Excel nerd or an Access ninja, if you can turn big datasets into insights that people can understand, we’d love to have you in our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced strategic team focussed on improving the lives of people in Cumbria. We can offer you excellent training and development opportunities, alongside flexible working that allows you to keep the right work-life balance, while still developing your career.

About the role:

This role offers the opportunity to work as a member of the Performance and Intelligence Team, to collate, interpret and analyse information particularly to assist with a broad range of activities across service areas.

What we are looking for:

You must have the experience of sourcing and interpreting large volumes of data and collating data into high quality information. The successful candidate needs a flexible can-do approach, and they would have an eye for detail and opportunities to develop products or processes. Previous experience within local government isn’t essential, just the desire to learn and make a positive difference.

For an informal chat about the role or for further information, please contact Lindsey Pickard on 07831 465 475 or lindsey.pickard@cumbria.gov.uk.
