NYES Catering are a trading branch of North Yorkshire County Council.
With over 250 schools across North Yorkshire, Doncaster and the Northeast we provide customer focused, good quality catering services that strive to innovate and exceed customer expectations.
We are passionate about the meals we provide, which are produced fresh on site daily, following the school food standards and adhering to our Soil Association’s Food for Life accreditation. All of our staff are highly trained, which can include, NVQs in Catering, Nutrition and healthy eating, Health and Safety, Allergen Management and Customer Care.
We are looking for an experienced Catering Area Manager who can support, motivate and lead a great team of professionals across schools in the Hull area. You will be responsible for providing high quality and efficient services operating to the highest standards of food safety as well as the delivery of catering services to achieve financial budgets and targets.
To be successful in this role you will need to have multi-site catering experience, have a proven track record in optimising performance and taking an innovative approach to the ownership of multiple sites.
Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will be required to build excellent, customer focussed relationships with Headteachers, Business Managers, School and Trust staff.
To be successful you must have a professional Catering qualification e.g . NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery, City and Guilds 706/1/2. Ideally, you will be Level 4 Food Safety and IOSH qualified but we welcome applicants with Level 3 and a Health & Safety qualification with a positive approach to completing the higher qualification.
