Business Administrator Apprenticeship - Level 3 - Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service (Penrith)

Closing Date: 02/01/2022

Salary: £4.30 per hour - £159.10 per week.  (From 1st April this increases to £4.81 per hour - £177.97 per week) - National Apprenticeship Wage - during first 12 months. (if 19 years old or over after 12 months your salary will increase to minimum wage for your age)

Hours: 37 hours per week

Workbase: Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service HQ Kemplay Bank Penrith CA10 2FA 

Start Date: March 2022

Apprenticeship Duration: 18 months

We have an exciting opportunity with Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service within the Service Support Team.  The team provides direct support to a number of key functions within Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service.  This includes purchasing Fire Kit providing reports for Leadership Team developing Systems for the Service and providing support at Gold Command level during exercises - the Service Support Team is where it all happens.  We are looking for a new member to join our friendly hard working highly respected team and we can provide you with the opportunity to gain a full range of Business Administration skills.  The Team will be with you all the way nurturing your talents developing your potential and helping you achieve your ambitions.

Essential Criteria

Please note that your application will be assessed against the Qualifications; Skills and Personal Qualities and Behaviours listed on the Apprenticeship Description.  In your application form you must therefore clearly demonstrate:

  1. That you meet all qualification requirements and
  2. That you have or would develop the skills personal qualities and behaviours required of the role and provide examples where possible.

Initial Assessments and Eligibility Checks will take place as part of the recruitment process.  Candidates will be contacted directly by the Training Provider RWP Training Ltd by phone or email to complete the checks by 14th January 2022.

Interview Date: Planned to be held between 24th January and 4th February 2022

Due to the coronavirus we are operating virtual interviews. This will preferably be undertaken using the Microsoft Teams software which is currently free for new users however if there are any issues with accessing this technology we are happy to discuss alternative arrangements prior to the interviews.
