Salary range: £36,708 - £39,867 p.a. inc. 

Contract: Permanent 

Hours of work: 36 hours per week

Location: Civic centre and other locations from time to time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Occupational Therapists to join us here in Brent in Adult Social Care.  We are a values based employer looking for enthusiastic newly qualified and experienced Occupational Therapists.

As a Social Care OT, you will be responding to those in need of social care support and taking appropriate interventions as required. Occupational Therapists here at Brent use a strength-based approach to promote the independence, interest and rights of our residents and their families.  Across our Adult Social Care service, we strive to deliver a culture of working together, positive risk taking and accountability. Our core aim is to support our residents to be influential active members of our community.

We need Occupational Therapists that can engage with people, promote and enable inclusive community options as well as self-directed support.  You will work as part of a multi skilled team that includes Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Sensory Impairment Officers and Care Assessors.  You will need to be a qualified, registered Occupational Therapist adhering to the Health and Care Professions Council Standards.  We will expect you to have some experience working within a social care or community focused multi-disciplinary setting, as well as some experience with moving and handling equipment and the ability to recommend minor and major adaptations.

We now have opportunities for OTs to work across difference teams within Adult Social Care including Complex Care, Duty, Hospital Discharge and Brent’s Home First and Reablement Team.
