Job Details
Chelmsford City Council are seeking an Apprentice to join our Digital Service Desk team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to kick start a career within the IT sector.
The successful applicant will have exposure to configuring and troubleshooting IT hardware, software and telephony, whilst gaining valuable Active Directory and 365 Administrator skills, which will assist their Information Communications Technician (ICT) Apprenticeship to becoming a qualified IT Analyst.
Our Apprentices work alongside experienced professionals in a supportive Digital Services department, working in a hybrid working environment.
You will be part of a team that are the first point of contact for customers experiencing IT issues and our support is offered remotely or via in person desk visits. You will also be responsible for carrying out duties directed by the Support and Finance Lead and DevOps Service Manager, helping you develop your technical resolution skills.
Further training opportunities and skills will be obtained with your involvement in IT projects, system roll outs and hardware deployments.
Applicants must be eligible to receive apprenticeship funding and should not hold a qualification in the same field at a level 3 or above
