Reading Borough Council is now seeking an outstanding leader to lead the delivery of the outcomes envisaged in these plans.

The Assistant Director of Planning, Transport and Public Protection will build upon a solid foundation and shape a culture of high expectations by developing the council’s strategic approach to planning, regulatory services, transport strategy, programmes and projects, that supports Reading’s economic recovery from the pandemic. The successful candidate will have a track record in delivering outstanding services, right first time projects and organisational change in complex environments.
