About Us:

Harness the power of IT to enable better housing management.

In Kensington and Chelsea, we put local people and local businesses at the heart of decision-making, working in partnership with them to provide quality services that are responsive, effective and efficient. We are committed to embedding lessons learnt and have brought our social housing stock back under local authority control. We’ve now embarked on a £400 million capital delivery programme to improve existing homes and develop new ones over the next five years.

The Role:

Joining our housing team, you’ll ensure we have the IT systems and processes in place to manage our housing assets safely and efficiently. That means applying IT and software solutions to real-life work situations, and empowering people to do their jobs more effectively. You’ll work closely with colleagues to understand and interpret their business needs, streamline systems to make them more user-friendly, and generate models to support good decision-making. We’re also interested in your ideas about how to use IT to provide enhanced services for our communities.

Please refer to the Job Description for more information

About You:

While background knowledge of housing management or asset management would be helpful, your key skills will be in IT. You’ll have advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, Access, Excel and VBA, combined with software programming skills across the Microsoft Windows platform. Accuracy and attention to detail are important.  At the same time, you’ll be a creative thinker and an exceptional communicator, able to handle the complexities of IT and transform them into strategic business solutions that move the organisation forward.

In return, you can look forward to a package that includes a competitive salary, a high-quality pension scheme and generous annual leave plus bank holidays.

Please apply online explaining how you meet the requirements set out in the person specification and job description. CV’s alone will not be considered for this role.

We reserve the right to close this vacancy early if we receive a high volume of suitable applicants.
