We are looking for talented and experienced Team Managers to join our Corporate Parenting service in Lambeth.

We think our services for Children Looked After and Care Experienced young people are getting better and we want a committed workforce to ensure we maintain and develop into being the very best. We are dedicated to permanency planning and we are making strides towards offering greater security for all our children.

You will possess strong direct work skills which you will mould and develop in your team. You will have extensive experience of court proceedings and know how to achieve the best care plans for Children Looked After. You will also have a wealth of knowledge about the challenges faced by Care Experienced adults, including how to secure the right placements and develop skills for independence. You will understand the need to make and maintain relationships with a wide audience, sometimes in challenging circumstances with positive outcomes as a result.

As a Team Manager in Lambeth, you will lead, and line manage up to 6 qualified social workers with a key focus on supervision to develop autonomy and practice. You will demonstrate to your team and the wider service your commitment to our young people which will inspire others to do the same.

  • Manage a small team with support from advanced practitioners

  • Are encouraged to develop strategic skills by being part of projects and working groups
  • Have access to a core and specialist training program designed for the service
  • Support from the dedicated Practice Development Leads
  • Systems to increase efficiency allowing more time for relationship and systemic approach
