Principal Human Resources Adviser – 1 year Fixed Term Contract

We will provide the opportunity to work across other areas of the HR service to broaden your experience, and will support you in developing as an HR professional. The position available for an experienced Principal HR Adviser to join our HR Professional Services Team will work closely with our Children’s Services Directorate, supporting the leadership team to achieve their ambitious objectives.

Your work will be primarily focused on the Directorate’s change agenda, employee relations case management, working  closely with our Directorate Management Teams to support them in achieving their people management outcomes. Dealing with the most complex matters, you will need to be a strong communicator, with the tenacity to resolve any issues, which may arise. Substantial experience in restructures and management of various projects is also essential.

Some travel to other sites located within the Royal Borough of Greenwich is required and there may be a requirement to attend some meetings outside of office hours.

Ideally you will be fully CIPD qualified and you must have demonstrable successful experience which is relevant to the role.  We’re seeking a versatile, resilient HR Professional with excellent communication and relationship building skills who can manage and deliver a wide ranging workload in a large organisation.
