CTOT are looking to recruit a Logistics and Area Supervisor who will be responsible for line-managing a team of drivers/passenger assistants who deliver Home to School (SENDS, Mainstream) and Adult Social Care transport. This is an exciting opportunity to join a relatively new and still growing team deliver operational passenger transport in the county in a varied role.

CTOT operate countywide and this post holder will be responsible for operations in the North areas of the County.  Carlisle is preferred however Penrith and Workington are also potential and this will be discussed at interview.

You should be experienced in managing people, self-motivated, an independent thinker, confident in your own decision making and able to work flexibly around an operational day. As well as the supervision of your team, and ensuring compliance of all operational aspects you will also work closely with other area supervisors in the county to ensure continuity of service delivery.  You will also work directly with the Operations Manager by analysing and interpreting detailed information to assist with the exploration and development of CTOT services. 

Experience of logistics and a knowledge of the geography of Cumbria is advantageous.

Candidates who are successful through the interview process will also be required to take a minibus driving assessment to be held on the same day of interview at our Skirsgill Operational Depot, Penrith.

This role requires an enhanced DBS check with a Childrens/Adults Barred List check. Please note this role involves working in regulated activity with Adults and/or Children.
