Job Details
Chelmsford City Council is looking to appoint a permanent, part-time Environmental Health Officer or Business Compliance Officer.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, suitably qualified Officer to join our dedicated Business Compliance Team in Public Health and Protection Services to help maintain and improve the health and environment for those who live in, work in or visit our Borough. This is a great opportunity to develop and expand skills across food safety and health and safety regulation.
Applicants should be competent in food safety in line with Chapter 4 of the Food Law Code of Practice and have excellent communication skills to influence standards and behaviour. They will need a commitment to team working as well as having the ability to work efficiently and effectively on their own. High standards of customer service and the discipline to deliver this across a large and varied workload are also essential.
