About Us:

Where children’s development goes hand in hand with your development

In Kensington and Chelsea, we put local people at the heart of decision-making, working in partnership with them to provide quality services that are responsive, effective and efficient. By sharing facilities and expertise with Westminster City Council and Hammersmith & Fulham Council, we’re able to offer joined-up services for children and their families that are constantly evolving and improving. In our most recent Ofsted inspection, we were judged as outstanding in all areas.

This is a diverse area and we have high aspirations for all our children, starting with early years and the provision of affordable childcare for working parents. We take an inclusive approach to nursery provision and offer funded places and special needs places.

The Role:

We’re currently recruiting Early Years Practitioners for three of our nurseries in Kensington & Chelsea: one in the south and two in the north of the borough. All three nurseries have a strong family feel, and staff are actively involved in developing the ethos and approach. Across the service, we are focused on excellence and provide a purposeful, stimulating environment that is rich in learning opportunities. Safeguarding is, of course, a top priority.

This is also an opportunity for you to learn and develop. We believe outstanding nurseries are created by outstanding people, and do everything we can to support your continuing professional development. Do well, and you’ll find there are plenty of opportunities for promotion within the service.

In return, you can look forward to a package that includes a competitive salary, a high-quality pension scheme and generous annual leave plus bank holidays.
