Salary range: £32,418 - £34,209 p.a. inc. 
Contract: Fixed term/Secondment (12 months) 
Hours of work: 36 hours per week
Location: Civic Centre and other locations 

We have an increasing demand for affordable accommodation to meet our statutory housing duty for homeless households in Brent

The Post

Focusing on increasing the supply of suitable accommodation for our clients, you will be expected to engage and negotiate with private sector landlords and agencies to meet our demand for  housing in order to enable the Council to discharge its housing duty. Supporting and building relationships with landlords to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction and tenancy sustainment is vital.

The Person

The role requires a hard working and motivated individual who has a passion for property and extensive negotiating experience. You will conduct viewings and property inspections, contribute to the accommodation strategy and business development. A good knowledge of the housing market and homelessness is essential.
