Do you want to be part of the new Brent Oracle Cloud Applications Support Team?
We are looking for people to work on the functional support team who will develop and support the Oracle Cloud system and will work with key stakeholders to drive innovative solutions, to ensure the Council continue to benefit from the newly implemented Oracle Cloud System.
Brent is a tremendously vibrant London borough where the iconic arch of Wembley Stadium dominates the skyline. Spanning both inner and outer London, it is a borough of huge contrasts in terms of its economic, environmental, ethnic and social make up. Brent’s diversity is evident to all who visit our borough and our long history of ethnic and cultural diversity has created a place that is truly unique and valued by those who live and work here.
The council is pursuing a far-reaching transformation agenda that better meets the needs of our community so it is an exciting time to join us.
The council has recently implemented the Oracle Cloud system and have created a new team to support and develop Brent’s Oracle Cloud system.
This is an exciting time to join Brent’s Oracle Cloud Support team. The Council implemented Oracle Cloud in October 2021 and are now recruiting a new team of Senior Applications Support Officers within the Oracle Cloud Applications support team.
There are three vacant posts, which will report into the Team Leader for Applications support. The Team will deliver functional support and be responsible for driving through improvements by carrying out service and process reviews, to deliver a high quality service to all Oracle users across the Council.
The role will work on a busy helpdesk and also liaise with key stakeholders to introduce improved ways of working by implementing new functionality, under the remit of continual service improvement.
You will have experience of working in a support function in a similarly large and complex organisation with experience of supporting Oracle (R12 or Cloud).
You will have knowledge and experience of working with key stakeholders and be able to work collaboratively across the Council and with partner organisations.
