About the Role

The Children’s Services works to improve outcomes for vulnerable children, young people and families in Haringey along with ensuring children and young people are safeguarded by identifying and addressing child protection issues and concerns with colleagues as appropriate.  We deliver a high-quality social work service to children and families working in partnership with other statutory and third sector organisations. 

As a Business Support Officer, you will be responsible for delivering a full range of business support activities to ensure the smooth running of the service. Responsibilities will include:

  • Document Management
  • Administration
  • Data entry to council systems
  • Supporting meetings
  • Complaints and FOIs
  • Supporting key business processes

About You

We’re looking for someone who has proven Business Support experience of delivering a high quality service within a busy and thriving complex or regulated environment. You will have:

  • Excellent data management and recording skills – both manual and computerised.
  • Previous customer service experience – to both internal and external customers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A good knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office
  • Adaptability and the ability to work flexibly under pressure.
