The York & North Yorkshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) is a public-private partnership charged with driving economic growth and prosperity across York and North Yorkshire. We are one of 38 LEPs in the national LEP Network.

As our Enterprise Partnership Officer for Skills you will understand the need for skills in business communities, and work with partners to share and use this understanding to optimise conditions for sustainable growth. You will support the Senior Strategy Manager for Skills in the delivery of Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) activity, working closely alongside partners and stakeholders by facilitating the development of programmes and projects that deliver economic benefits for York and North Yorkshire; harnessing both public and private sector investment in the delivery of these projects and programmes; and ensuring that projects and programmes are delivered effectively and maximise their impact.
What you will bring…
To be successful you must have an understanding of the skills agenda, have the ability to engage influence and effect change, be able to plan and research information; and utilise data to create plans and develop new ways of working. Have a proven track record in building and influencing networks and converse effectively with internal and external clients and stakeholders.
You must be a strategic thinker and an exceptional communicator both written and oral as well as being able to establish and develop positive working relations
